Regarding the reason why the central glass part comes off easily,
Since all glass parts are handmade, there may be individual differences in the adhesive surfaces.
As a result, we have been adjusting the amount of glue individually depending on the individual product, but some products had less glue in the process, which is what caused this defect.

We have already received orders for the "Birthday Month Bloom Ring" in the February, March, April, and May colors, so we understand that this may have caused inconvenience to those who had ordered other colors. We would like to offer our apologies once again.

Reasons why glass parts come off easily and what to do about it

All glass parts are handmade, and the contact surfaces are not flat and there are individual differences between each piece.

Therefore, in order to make up for these individual differences, the amount of glue used is individually judged and adjusted, and the cause was that some of the products had a small amount of glue during this process.

Regarding products released after February,
We are currently working with the factory on trial and error to find a solution to this issue of the amount of glue used.

How to check if your Birthday Month Bloom Ring ( December or January ) is defective

These white lines and bumps are created when the glass product is manufactured using a mold, and appear when the mold is removed.

We had been operating under the understanding that this line was unavoidable during manufacturing, and so we did not specifically mention it at the time of sale.

This is an important point for our customers, and we regret that sufficient information was not provided from the beginning.
We proceeded with the understanding that there would be individual differences, and we would like to apologize again for not explaining each and every one of these variations.

We take this issue seriously and will provide detailed announcements about products that may have significant individual differences or that have a different texture or appearance than usual.

= Regarding the white lines, they are considered to be within the acceptable range due to manufacturing specifications, but we are working with the factory in trial and error to try to eliminate them as much as possible.

What is the difference between repair and replacement?

=If the detached central glass part is within the acceptable range, we will repair it and return it to you.

Birthday Month Bloom Ring Improvements

We have repeatedly tested our factories and improved our products so that we can deliver improved products through remanufacturing.

We are now pleased to report that we have a clear outlook for the manufacture of the improved product.

 

Improvements 

By readjusting the amount of glue and applying resin to the entire glass,
We will increase the strength of the adhesive and eliminate the white lines around the glass as much as possible.

 

・Glass parts come off easily
We have readjusted the amount of glue used to attach the base and glass parts .

We have also changed the order in which the glue and flakes are added to make the product stronger.
*Since all glass parts are handmade, there may be individual differences in the adhesive surfaces.
*Since the adhesive surface is not flat, depending on the lighting conditions it may appear as if there are lines that look like cracks.
*Glass parts that cannot be removed even when pushed with the back of your finger will be considered as good products.

 

・About the white lines around the
By applying resin to the entire glass, we have made the defect less noticeable.
*The lines are marks left when the glass is put into a mold and then removed from the mold during the manufacturing process, and are unavoidable in the manufacturing of these glass parts.
*Resin treatment has been used to eliminate the white lines around the glass and roughness on the surface as much as possible.
*The application of resin may leave traces of small dust and popped bubbles, similar to those found in resin products.
*The resin may also get on the four decorative claws around the glass , causing the shape of the glass to appear distorted.

 

・Other precautions for this product
*Cracks that occur during glass manufacturing are treated with resin to make them less noticeable, but they cannot be completely eliminated. Please understand that this is a manufacturing specification.
*Air bubbles will still be present, just as they were before the improvement. Please understand that this is unavoidable in the manufacturing process of glass products.
*Some products may have marbling, which is unique to glass.
*The claws appear curved because this is the design used to set glass, which may vary slightly in size.
*As this is a made-to-order product, there may be some variation in glass color from the sample.

Also, depending on the marble pattern, the color and sample may differ even for glass from the same lot.
In particular, while the May color sample was a deep green, this one is a light green.
