Takashi Murakami Monster Kyoto On sale at the special shop
A collaborative accessory between Murakami Takashi and Liquem will be on sale at the special Murakami Takashi Mononoke Kyoto shop, which will be held at the Kyocera Museum of Art in Kyoto from February 3rd to September 1st, 2024.
Even though it has been four years since its release, there are still many requests for a resale
This is the second collaboration between Takashi Murakami and Liquem.
The first release was in May 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The accessories, which were released as a bit of positive news during the pandemic, sold out immediately, and even now, four years later, we are still receiving many requests for them to be restocked.
"Takashi Murakami: Mononoke Kyoto" is Murakami's first large-scale solo exhibition in Japan in eight years since 2015.
It is a very rare opportunity to be able to release collaborative accessories with Takashi Murakami on such an occasion.
We hope that our customers will enjoy this positive news again.
Sale Items
The three motifs to be released will be the same as those in 2020: Cherry Blossom, Flower, and Cherry.
We will be re-selling the new models and colors created for the 2024 edition, as well as some of the popular products from the first release.
In addition, this edition comes with a box featuring Takashi Murakami's characters embossed on it.
The foil-stamped characters are selected to match the product's motif, and there are four in total.
It is perfect as a gift and can also be used as a box to store accessories.
Sales destination
The collaborative products will be released first at the Murakami Takashi Mononoke Kyoto special shop at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art, and will then be sold at Tonari no Zingaro (Nakano, Tokyo) operated by Kaikai Kiki, and on the Liquem online site at a date to be determined.
"Cherry Blossom" will go on sale from February 3, 2024, and the release dates for the other products have yet to be decided. All products will be available in advance at the Murakami Takashi Mononoke Kyoto special shop, and are scheduled to be on sale during the event.

Madoka Wakatsuki/Director and designer of Liquem
Born in Tokyo in 1982.
After gaining experience in apparel PR, she launched Liquem at VHF Inc.
Her style is influenced by Japanese anime, especially magical girls, and is colorful, like toy jewels.
